Annual Summer Service Trip
2015 Summer Service Trip - we went to Sheboygan, WI to volunteer with Habitat for Humanity - Lakeside, which serves the Sheboygan County area.
From July 7th through July 9th, the WYO staff and teens did a variety of tasks for the Habitat for Humanity affiliate. We spent two, 8-hour work days on the build site, where teens worked on various aspects of the building process, including: landscaping, painting, and clean-up projects.
Habitat for Humanity of Sheboygan County founded in 1993, is a locally operated affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International in Sheboygan, Wisconsin.

The WYO provides social service and volunteer opportunities for teens throughout the year that allows them to have hands-on involvement in the community while gaining perspective on life.
We conduct at least one service project a month and work with many service organizations around Chicago to combat a variety of social issues.
Every year, we take a group of teens on a social service trip to spend 3-4 days in a different location for a unique social service immersion experience. Scroll down to see our 2015 summer service project!
